Breaking Barriers, Building Solidarity: Leadership, Identity, and Social Justice in ECE
This transformative panel discussion—the first and one of many “charlas” we’ll be hosting to elevate the voices, lived experience and leadership journey of BIPOC leaders in ECE. In today’s conversation, we’re bringing together an incredible group of Black and Latina leaders who will share their powerful stories, strategies, and insights on navigating and breaking through systemic barriers in leadership. Our discussion is facilitated by the Dra. Lucy Fuentes, and we are honored to be joined by Dra. Yohana Quiroz, Dra. Martha Melgoza, Giannina Perez, Dr. Ashley Williams, Dr. Hannefah Peters, and Dr. Olabisi Adesuyi-Fasuyi. Together, we’ll uncover practical ways we foster change, build more inclusive leadership pathways, and work to increase representation of BIPOC leaders in ECE.
